Polo in the Quad Cities – Playing for Kids

What do you think when you think of polo? When I received my first invitation to a polo event recently, the first things that came through my mind after “Oh, my gosh!” were visions of seeing news clips of Prince Charles and Camilla watching a polo match. Well, polo isn’t only for royal British people. It turns out we have a Quad Cities Polo Club. They are holding a charity match on Aug. 9 at the Boeh Family Farm, 4150 Forest Grove Drive, in Bettendorf.

Wait! There’s more. They are playing a charity match in which all proceeds will go to the Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities. Tickets are ONLY $5!!! And what’s more — The polo club and therapy center are having Accent Photographics shoot the event, which will include childen’s activities, wine tasting and more!!

Here’s a glimpse of some of my favorite image I took from a recent polo practice I attended.
