Polo InStyle

If polo ever became an Olympic sport, don’t be surprised if one of the players from the Quad Cities or other guest polo players who showed off their equestral polo skills last Saturday make the team. The 2nd Annual Quad Cities Polo Club Charity Event was a fundraiser for the Children’s Therapy Center of the Quad Cities on a Bettendorf field considered one of the best in the country, if not in the Midwest.

Accent Photographics was the official photographer for this event, which proved to reveal more than just horses and polo. Fancy hat contests, wine tasting and children’s activities made for a fun day and a busy day of photography.

Here are a few favorite images from Saturday’s event. But more images can be viewed and purchased at Accent Photographics.

More importantly, 20% of all proceeds from photos go toward the Children’s Therapy Center, which provides speech, occupational and physical therapies to children from the Quad Cities and as far away as Peoria and Iowa city.
