Dana ~ Image Tree Photography

This post may be a bit out-dated, except I’m mailing Dana these images – today.

Dana is the artist behind Image Tree Photography in the St. Louis area. She and I met a few months ago on a photography forum geared for lifestyle children and family photographers. The forum – for us and the photographers who hang out there – is a constant source of information, feedback and comraderie. It soon became clear that Dana provided all three with grace and a sense of humor – and I really wanted to meet her in person.

So we arranged a get-together in Peoria one day in April. We talked about our work over lunch – from products to photo labs to logos – as well as ideas about marketing and the direction we wanted to take our work.

Of course, no get-together for photographers is complete without shooting each other (with cameras). And that’s just what we did on the Bradley University campus for a good chunk of the afternoon, along with Dana’s adorable daughter.

Since our visit, this talented photographer has been working on a new Website and blog which – like Dana – I’m sure will be one-of-a-kind.

  1. Yay for Dana Fontaine! She is so sweet and talented. And these are so fun, Shuva! Thanks so much for sharing your meet up with us. I love the one in the lower left… too sweet. Lovely job!

  2. Thanks so much for your kind words and taking our portraits. WE had an amazing time with you! (had to be since we managed to have seven hours pass like they were two!)

LMN has been asking about what you have been up to, so we will have to meet up again in the fall!
