*Wedding Wednesday* :: Trash the Dress on ModernWedding.org

One of my goals has been to have my work featured on another wedding-related website, many of which are run by independent wedding planners. Well, I was very excited to learn this morning that my Trash the Dress shoot I did with Tim and Heather Olson back in May is featured today on Modern Wedding, a site filled with numerous creative ideas for couples all over the world. You can click on the screen capture below to view the actual site:

The couple has been married for a few years now. And Heather – who is expecting – truly honored the concept of a Trash the Dress shoot in her vintage wedding dress. That said, the Trash session isn’t necessarily about ruining the dress as much it is about having fun in it in an unconventional environment – be it days or years after the wedding. After all, you didn’t say “I do” to the dress but to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

However, for brides absolutely not comfortable with the idea of getting your wedding dress dirty to ruined, consider a Trash session in another dress.

I would love to do more of these, so please contact me for details if you’re interested in doing a shoot that is fun, unconventional and completely carefree!

*Wedding Wednesday* is a weekly post of creative ideas and inspiration. If you are a professional in the wedding industry and would like to contribute an entry please contact me for information.

As Ever, Shuva…
