A Quick Overview of the Holiday Card Sessions

It’s only mid-August and – believe it or not – Holiday Card sessions are in full swing now. It’s exciting to have my clients be part of the creative process in choosing their custom cards. This is the second year I’m offering this special, so I thought I’d talk very briefly about the process involved.

  • Step 1 ~ Book the session. This requires a pre-consultation so you know specifics on prices and products.
  • Step 2 ~ The Photo Session. This is done on-location. The time and fee depends on the number of people.
  • Step 3 ~ Card Selection. After photos are edited you get access to a gallery to choose your Holiday Card design.
  • Step 4 ~ Preview and Choose. Finally, you get to preview your custom Holiday Card before printing, and make your final selections from your session.

The entire process is an organic one and ideal for people want to take an active role in their photo experience. And, it’s the families – like the ones I’m seeing now and September – who get the most out out of their experience by giving themselves time to think about and enjoy their final images. If this sounds like something you’re interested in if you’re in the Quad Cities or Iowa City, then shoot me an email.

Over the next few weeks I’ll recap a few favorite Holiday Card sessions from last year and reveal a bit behind-the-scenes details with each one.

Thanks, and have a wonderful week!
